The backstory
Voiceflow is a platform for designing, testing, and shipping conversational agents at team scale, used to build and maintain chatbots in production. A basic bot is a weekend project now with the Assistants API, which pressures the simple end of the market. But Voiceflow survived by selling the parts a raw API does not: versioning, collaborative design, testing, analytics, human handoff, and deployment. The moat is production operations, not the bot itself.
