The backstory
Tableau is the standard for governed enterprise dashboards, and that part is safe. What changed is the long tail: upload a CSV to a chat product and get the chart, the regression and the written interpretation in thirty seconds, no licence required. That was a meaningful share of Tableau seats. Salesforce responded with Tableau Pulse and Agentforce, which is the right move and an acknowledgement.
