Streak turns Gmail into a CRM with pipelines, mail merge and thread tracking right in the inbox. Google's Gemini side panel now summarizes threads, drafts replies and surfaces context in Gmail without a third-party add-on. That bundling weakens Streak's in-inbox convenience story. Its structured pipelines and shared boxes still add value beyond email, so it is wounded rather than killed.
