The backstory
SendGrid, owned by Twilio, delivers transactional and marketing email at scale via API, handling deliverability and reputation. ChatGPT can write the email body, but sending millions of messages reliably past spam filters is infrastructure a chatbot does not touch. The IP reputation, deliverability and API scale are the moat. Because someone must actually deliver the mail, SendGrid survives.
