Decart
Real-time generative video that transforms a live camera feed frame by frame.
NOT REALLY
why this verdict
Keep it — Meta has not replaced it
Meta's version overlaps, but does not finish the video job, so this one is still worth keeping open.
- A named launch, not a vibe named, unlinked
- Frontier labs adding realtime generation to models that already lead on quality. Meta, March 17, 2026 — no announcement link recorded yet.
- How much of the job it covers not the job editorial call
- Parts of it. The job still needs the tool to get finished.
- Is there a free way to do it? paid only
- 3 replacements listed, all paid.
- What the call is worth nothing to cancel
- No paid entry tier tracked, so there is no subscription to cancel.

The backstory
Decart works on the hardest constraint in generative video, which is doing it live, transforming a webcam or game feed into another world at interactive frame rates rather than rendering for minutes. That opens applications offline generation cannot touch, from live streaming filters to playable generated environments. Competing on raw quality against labs with far more compute would be futile, so it competes on latency, and being the only usable option in real time is a genuine position.
