The backstory
Cosmos is a moodboarding and discovery feed that designers use to file away images, type, film stills and interiors. Generative tools can invent a reference on demand, which threatens any pure inspiration library. Cosmos leans the other way: it is about human curation, provenance and following specific people's eyes. That social filter is exactly what synthetic image feeds cannot fake, so it kept growing through the image-model boom.
