The backstory
ContentBot generated blog drafts, ad copy and outlines with a friendly UI and a flow builder. Canvas gave ChatGPT an actual editing surface — inline rewrites, length sliders, tone adjustment — which was the last real UX advantage the wrapper tools held. Once the free chat product had a proper document editor, paying for a thinner one stopped making sense.
