The backstory
Capture One handles raw development, colour grading and tethered shooting for commercial photographers. AI editors can approximate a finished look automatically, and generative tools can invent images outright, which hurts the low end of photo work. Studio and product photography still needs precise colour, tethering to a camera on set and files a client will accept. The craft end held, even as casual editing moved to automation.
