The backstory
Firefly is Adobe's own generation suite, sold on licensed training data and tight integration with Photoshop and Premiere. Rival models moved faster on quality and prompt adherence, so Firefly is often the safer choice rather than the better one. Adobe responded by making Firefly a front end for third-party models too, which is an admission of the gap. Enterprise indemnity keeps it alive, raw capability is not why people pick it.
