why this verdict
Keep paying — OpenAI has not replaced it
OpenAI's version overlaps, but does not finish the voice & audio job, so this one still earns its $15/mo.
- A named launch, not a vibe named, unlinked

- How much of the job it covers not the job editorial call

The backstory
Wispr Flow's difference from built-in dictation is editing: it strips the ums, applies context from the app you are in, and produces text that reads as written rather than spoken. That is a language-model job layered on transcription, which is exactly what OS-level dictation still does not do.
