The backstory
Webstudio is an open-source Webflow alternative that generates standard code and can deploy anywhere, which addresses the objection experienced developers have to visual builders: the exit is impossible. AI site generators threaten the whole category by producing a site from a sentence, and generated sites still need someone to adjust them visually afterwards. Being open source means a project outlives the company behind it, which is worth real money to agencies.
