Keep paying — Anthropic has not replaced it
Anthropic's version overlaps, but does not finish the support job, so this one still earns its $50/mo.

The backstory
Unthread solves a specific modern problem: B2B customers now expect a shared Slack channel, and support requests vanish into scrollback with no SLA, no assignment and no reporting. It layers ticketing and AI triage onto those channels without asking anyone to visit a portal. The large helpdesks are adding Slack support, but they treat it as a channel bolted to a portal-shaped product, whereas Unthread treats the channel as the product, which is a real difference in feel.
