Keep paying — OpenAI has not replaced it

The backstory
Skyvern uses vision models rather than DOM selectors to operate websites, which means it does not break when markup changes and can handle sites it was never configured for. That suits the unglamorous work it targets: insurance quotes, government portals, procurement forms, invoicing. Frontier computer use can do the same tasks, but enterprises buying this want retries, audit logs, proxy management and a support contract, and that packaging is what they are actually paying for.
