The backstory
Sider is a browser extension that lets you talk to several chat models about the page in front of you, with PDF reading and translation bolted on. It sold convenience: one subscription instead of several, and page context the model could not otherwise see. OpenAI's own browser and extension now read the page directly, and the labs bundle document chat in their consumer tiers. A reseller of model access loses when the models sell themselves.
