The backstory
ProtoPie builds prototypes that behave like real products, using conditions, variables, device sensors and hardware connections. Prompt-to-UI tools produce plausible screens quickly, but they struggle with precise timed interactions and the automotive and hardware work ProtoPie is used for. Its users are prototyping behaviour, not pictures. That depth kept it in place while lighter mockup tools got squeezed.
