The backstory
Polymet generates whole product flows rather than isolated components, keeping a consistent design system across screens and exporting usable React. That multi-screen consistency is the real gap in prompt-to-UI tools, most of which produce a beautiful component and an incoherent app. The difficulty is distribution: Figma ships this to millions of designers as a feature, and Vercel ships it to developers, so a standalone product needs its output to be visibly better rather than merely comparable.
