The backstory
Oura packs sleep, temperature and heart rate sensing into a ring and charges a monthly membership for the scores and its conversational advisor. Google's wearables now bundle AI health coaching into a cheaper or included subscription, which makes a second recurring fee harder to justify. Oura is wounded because the advisor layer is commoditising, though the ring's comfort and its temperature data still have no direct equivalent.
