The backstory
Mode combined SQL, Python notebooks and visualisation for data teams. Models now write the SQL and the pandas, which is most of the friction Mode removed. Acquired by ThoughtSpot. The collaborative reporting layer survives; the individual analyst seat is much easier to justify away.
