The backstory
Clarity gives away session recordings, heatmaps and frustration signals with no traffic limit, which is why it quietly ended the low end of the CRO tool market. Microsoft runs it as a data and advertising play rather than a product line that must earn revenue. AI competitors cannot undercut a price of zero backed by Azure. It survives precisely because it was never trying to be a business.
