The backstory
Meshy generates textured 3D assets from a prompt or a picture, aimed at indie game developers and prototypers. Output quality is good enough for blockouts and background props but rarely for hero assets that need clean topology. Meanwhile engines and big labs are adding their own 3D generation. Meshy is useful today and directly in the path of a much larger platform feature.
