The backstory
Delve, a Y Combinator company, rebuilt compliance automation assuming AI agents from the start rather than adding them to a checklist product, using them to read policies, collect evidence and draft auditor responses. Its wedge against the incumbents is speed and price, promising SOC 2 in days at a fraction of the cost. Compliance is a market where buyers are risk-averse and references matter enormously, so the technical advantage has to survive a long trust-building period.
