ChatPDF was a clean single-purpose tool: upload a document, ask questions. Then Claude and ChatGPT both shipped native file upload with far larger context windows — for free or bundled into a plan you already pay for. There is little reason left to pay a separate $5/mo for a feature that is now table stakes everywhere.
