The backstory
Brisk works where teachers already are, as a browser extension over Google Docs and Classroom rather than another site to log into, which is why adoption spreads teacher to teacher without a district purchase. Its inspect-writing-history feature, showing how a student's document was actually composed, addressed the AI cheating panic more usefully than any detector. Living inside Google's products is both the strategy and the risk, since Gemini is arriving in the same surfaces.
