The backstory
AskCodi wrapped commercial models in a set of task-shaped apps for generating code, SQL, tests and documentation, sold on credits. Every one of those tasks is now something you ask ChatGPT to do in the same window where you are already working. Codex goes further and runs the change in a sandbox against your repository. A credit-metered wrapper around someone else's model has nothing left to charge for once the model itself is a chat away.
