The backstory
Render is a managed platform for services, databases and cron jobs. Far from being threatened by coding agents, it benefits from them: the marginal cost of building a small service collapsed, so the number of small services went up. Hosting is one of the few categories where the AI wave is straightforwardly good for the incumbent.
