The backstory
Infisical is the open-source secrets platform that grew from an env-file replacement into certificates, rotation and secret scanning. Its timing is fortunate. Coding agents that read a repo make committed credentials a live incident rather than a code-review nit, and Infisical's scanner catches them before the push. Being self-hostable matters to exactly the security teams most nervous about agents, so the same anxiety that creates the risk creates its buyers.
