The backstory
Bito bundled an IDE assistant with an AI pull request reviewer that posts summaries and suggested fixes on GitHub, GitLab and Bitbucket. It was a thin orchestration layer over commercial models, which is a hard position to hold. Anthropic's own GitHub Action reviews pull requests with full repository access, and CodeRabbit undercuts on price with a free open-source tier. Squeezed from above by the model vendor and from below on price, there is no room left in the middle.
